ColorMed Press was founded by Joseph Servatius, RN, BSN, a registered nurse with years of clinical experience in hospice, long-term care, assisted living, and healthcare leadership.
Throughout his nursing career, Joseph recognized a common challenge among students: pharmacology and other medical subjects are often taught through repetition and memorization rather than true understanding.
That experience inspired him to develop a different approach.
Every ColorMed Press publication is designed to simplify difficult concepts using visual learning, memorable illustrations, and practical study tools that promote deeper understanding and long-term retention.

Joseph Servatius, RN, BSN
Joseph is a registered nurse, educator, and founder of ColorMed Press. His passion is helping healthcare students transform difficult medical concepts into knowledge they can confidently apply in both the classroom and clinical practice.
